Term-to-70 Life Insurance Plan
You've worked hard to keep your family secure, but unexpected situations can happen. That’s why it’s important to get a life insurance plan that helps protect your family’s financial future.
Go to My Account to set up Auto-Pay, make a one-time payment, review important product information and more.
Term-to-70 Life Insurance helps protect your family from the financial burden of an unexpected death. The costs of funeral arrangements and outstanding bills are high enough, not to mention the day-to-day bills (mortgage, car payment, college tuition, etc.) your family will face when you’re gone. And with today's rising costs and debt, many employer-sponsored life insurance plans may not provide enough coverage alone.
Layoff or Furlough Assistance
We're here to help eligible union members who have been laid off or furloughed. Check out our benefits below.
A job loss or furlough grant can help cover your bills when you've been laid off or furloughed. After three months as a Union Plus Credit Card or Teamster Privilege Credit Card cardholder or after six months as a Union Plus Personal Loan-holder, you may be eligible for a $300 grant. Click the links below to learn more about the grant and to apply.
If you've had a Union Plus home mortgage for a year or more, you may be eligible for an interest-free loan to cover mortgage payments for up to six (6) months. Plus a one-time $1,000 grant payable directly to qualified participants.
My wife found out about the grant opportunity. She said, ‘Oh, look, Cliff! Let’s see if we can get this grant.’ Any money helps pay bills!
What I’m so impressed by is the fact that Union Plus is providing benefits for and actually caring about hard-working Americans.

Are you having trouble paying doctor and hospital bills? The Union Plus Medical Bill Negotiating Service provides union members and their families with assistance negotiating medical bills.
The Union Plus Medical Bill Negotiating Service by Health Advocate provides union members with FREE assistance negotiating large out-of-pocket medical bills, bill reductions with physicians, hospitals and other medical providers. - You must have at least one outstanding unreimbursed medical expense of $400 or more from a single medical provider. But there's no limit on the number of medical providers with which the service will negotiate.

The Service attempts to negotiate any medical or dental bill regardless of insurance benefit status, including insured, underinsured, non-covered and out-of-network claims.
- Do not include expenses that were covered by your (or your spouse/dependent's) health insurance. Health Advocate may not be able to fee negotiate on money that was applied towards a deductible, coinsurance or co-pay. Deductibles, coinsurance, and co-pays are the member's contracted obligation with the insurance carrier.
- Unreimbursed expenses must be at least $400 for each medical provider.
